COMMENT AWAY:
After our Tryptophan/H1N1 poisoning this Thursday, the hammer will drop on the troop deployment to the fraudulent WOT zone. I expect there to be a major attack on US base installation there to compliment the Ft. Hood MK Ultra trigger OP.
Afghanistan (Country threat level - 5): A rocket targeted the five-star Serena Hotel in Kabul on 21 November 2009. Eyewitness reports indicate that the rocket -- which may have been fired from a nearby bridge -- hit the hotel compound’s outside wall, just behind the guardhouse, at approximately 1815 local time (1345 UTC). A hotel employee stated that there was no damage to the hotel itself. At least four people, including security personnel and civilians, sustained minor injuries in the attack. Security forces were immediately deployed to secure the site and block roads leading to the hotel, which has also been targeted in previous attacks.

I propose we have a monthly group conscience/consensus meeting where we chat about what’s going on with the site and site business.
I propose we have a weekly set of topics that we focus on for the rest of the week. Not an enforced set of topics, just a general left to other left, top to bottom idea of what we want to try to communicate to our readers during the week.
I nominate Sister Begonia as Acting Sgt at Arms, primary task is just calling caucuses whenever someone steps out of line (like this last go-round with Cinder).
I nominate Puddy as Acting chairman in charge of setting the general weekly direction and running the weekly/monthly meet-ups.
Any seconds? Any discussion?

Sorry V, Sister B is a bad choice since she nastily tore into Barbara Peterson when she called her on saying that she too was banned. Sister B has a penchant for saying Rob Kall was right and how we deserved to be banned. How is that coto unity?
Since this is the gum wall, I will repost it here in case you missed it.. You can judge for yourself. First Barbara’s comment and then SB’s reply:
#
Begonia,
Got your e-mail about how you were banned from COTO by Rady. Hmmmm..banned but still can post. Just how does that work, exactly?
How quickly the worm turns. Someone does something you don’t like, so now the first beast was okay after all, because it was really the second beast who caused all the trouble. If I do something you don’t like will I be the next beast? Will you blame me for what Rob Kall did too?
Barbara:
With all due respect, I don’t appreciate your banter any more than I like you. If you want to ask something, ask, but don’t be so cynical, sarcastic and malicious and make such stupid little remarks to show how above all you are. In case you didn’t get that I DON’T LIKE YOU EITHER. You’re boring and have nothing to contribute to the general population on this site, IMOH.
I’ve never taken notice of you, Barbara, trust me, I tried but couldn’t even get past your first sentence, each time, I was put to bed invariably. I have no idea, nor do I care, about what happened between you and Rob, however, as I’m finding out whoever complaints or got it from him, seems to have deserved it. Apparently, that includes you!

Hey Jersey…
I notice how that comment I sent you part of last night (the one showing not all COTO “womenfolk” supported Rady’s decision to unilaterally ban another member?) all of a SUDDEN got erased today for being “Off Topic”.
What a coincidence, huh?

AND also regarding the women here who don’t find being called the C word offensive… who are they? oldschoolanarch and who else again?? Sorry, I worked a very long day and my brain is fried.
By: jerseyg on July 21, 2009
at 6:08 pm
apparently your brain is fried, because I have that comment that Cinder left, and he absolutely DID NOT call the women here at COTO the “C” word.
He used it in an offensive manner, but he did not call the women at COTO the “C” word.
By: willyloman on July 21, 2009
at 6:11 pm
He was calling ALL women the c word.. and then he illustrated what he meant by it.. Cannot Understand Normal Thinking… Any wowan who would defend a man who posts something like that in a forum where women will see it can’t think much of herself. The men who spoke out against the use of such foul derogatory language and would never think to use it themselves are real coto.
By: jerseyg on July 21, 2009
at 6:17 pm
So, you decide who is “real COTO” and who isn’t? Their opinions don’t matter anymore, huh? Their logical arguments don’t matter? Just you and your edit button, huh?
Maybe you and your new friend, “Coalition of the Obvious” should put togetehr a list of all the words you two will and will not allow on the site.
Just so that people understand what YOU TWO will and won’t allow.
And while we are at it, lets make damn sure that everyone knows that if they argue too well for their point of view, it doesn’t matter, cus it won’t STAY UP too long anyway, right?
Because this is ALL about REAL freedom, right?
That is what the coalition is all about, right Jesrey?
By: willyloman on July 21, 2009
at 6:23 pm
Scott.. yea thats right.. those who started this site and put all the work into putting it together get to decide .. how do ya like THEM apples?
If you think slandering an entire gender or race of people is ok, buh bye, adios, arriverderrci. Anyone here who is a hater or feels the need
to defend the haters that hide behind all kinds of excuses for
their bigoted, despicable words, can go with you.
Don’t let the door hit you in the ass.
COTO needs to get down to the reason we are here in the
first place.

And again, the issue wasn’t the “C” word, the issue, as oldschoolanarch aptly put it, is the fact that somehere unilaterally banned a member. That is the issue. You keep trying to muddy the waters all you want, but the truth is still the truth
By: willyloman on July 21, 2009
at 6:16 pm
The issue is WHY he was banned scott…. or have you forgotten? YOu know full well why. YOu also know who banned him. You’re really reminding me of one of those outside agitators at peace rallies. You keep stirring the crap, dont’ you?
Coto is about freedom of speech.. not freedom to spew hate unless it’s for the powers that be and their minions. Coto is about railing against the PTB not defaming an entire gender or race of people. If you don’t have the intelligence or class to get that Scott, there’s the door.. use it. Go start your own website for foul mouthed little rude boys who don’t know how to act like mature men.

I’m not paying close enough attention. Gotcha.
I think we need a Nun gravitar to do our patrolling, though. Perhaps it’s the Catholic left in me.
I also think there needs to be a dividing line between administrative behavior and nurturing writers/contributors. Counting on specific gravitars to be nurturing and positive is something missing from the bigger Web 2.0 hit magnets. People write and contribute more when they feel supported. Many editors are such boors…it would be refreshing if people contributing could have a clearer sense of what a commenter is communicating.
I don’t know about you, but whacking someone over the knuckles is draining, day in and day out. It would be so much easier to just send a quick note to a designated nun and let them do what they do best. In a measured and appropriate manner, of course. That way an editor can stay in a + mindset. I would think it would make the volunteering a little easier.

V, I attended twelve years of catholic school and that was quite enough. I was over the catholic thing in my early years in high school when I started really thinking for myself. Sure, I got a good education, they know how to make you hand in your homework on time. But it was also a repressive environment for anyone who tends to question authority.
A comical nun is great. A patrolling nun? No way. I still have nightmares about those…….

As for Patrick.. he’s been a workhorse for this website along with Rady. They are the ones that brought us to this place. Now he’s lost the one person that had the time, know how and experience to get things done that needed to be done. He’s been left in quite a bind.
Patrick is also a fair and level headed person. I have absolute faith that any decision he makes will be for the good of coto. He started this site, it’s basically his baby. I can’t think of a better person to continue to be the administrator.
By: jerseyg on July 21, 2009

Since you know so much about the operation of this site, would you mind telling me EXACTLY WHO is now posting comments as “Coalition of the Obvious”? Because THAT person is apparently removing comments of regulars here. They ADMITTED it on the transparency thread.
So who exactly IS that, you wonder?
By: willyloman on July 21, 2009
at 6:14 pm
One more point: we shouldn’t be counting on ONE person to do all that work. It’s too easy to get burned…and it’s really not fair.
I recall one time not long after Marcos was cut loose from the Phillipines, one of his entourage — and there were several thousand — made it to my Dad’s Service Station in Monterey.
He made a point of talking up the working class jargon — no, problem, boss…I’ll do that, and that, and that. My Dad thought he’d died and gone to heaven.
Pops made the mistake of letting Mr. Entourage close one night and that was all it took.
We came in the next morning to discover we were close to a thousand dollars short. Mr. Entourage took the money and ran like hell.
To make things flexible, supple and viable, I think we need to have a tradition of a fair division of labor across all our volunteers and none of the martyrdom that has a poor outcome, on average and over time.
Rotating leadership also works best, too. No one gets too caught up in the ego trip of being the center of the universe. It’s not a healthy place to live or be for anyone. Someday the human species will come to realize that point. In the meantime, believe me, offloading the administrative baloney of keeping the lights on frees up everyone creatively.
All of this on a foundation of democratic rule with strict attention paid to minority opinion. Always give a minority opinion a chance to say their peace and be heard. Sometimes the minority opinion is correct. Mob rule is just as bad as tyranny. OTOH, not every group is ready to move in a given direction as a unified whole, so using democratic rule (Robert’s Rules of Order) keeps everyone together.
That’s my two cents.
Anyone have a motion to propose?
By: volaar on July 21, 2009

gee, it smells so much nicer in here.
I see you got rid of some decaying, foul carrion.

According to the paper, Barclay McFadden, who identified himself as a friend of McDonald’s family, said James McDonald “took his own life.” McDonald was also a board member of NYSE Euronext.
No one at Rockefeller & Co was immediately available for comment.

And it’s unclear where the company will get the inmates for the jail. The state of Montana says it’s not sending inmates to the jail, and neither are federal officials in the state.
There’s that word again “unclear”.
An attorney for American Police Force, Maziar Mafi, describes the Santa Ana, Calif., company as a fledgling spin-off of a major security firm founded in 1984. But Mafi declined to name the parent firm or provide details on how the company will finance its jail operations.
American Police Force founded in “1984″. Coincidence? I think not.

Resonse to Munich: COTO for Dummies
Sounds good to me. What I was thinking before you mentioned this was having each willing member to take a segment of, let’s say
THE COTO TOP TEN NWO AGENDAS
WORLD ORDER
FALSE FLAG HISTORY
CHEMTRAILS/ VACCINES/ BIOTERROR
MSM & DEFENSE
HAARP & OTHER WMD
BANKING/FINANCE
MEDIA/PROPAGANDA
FOOD/DRUG/GMO
FEMA/MARTIAL LAW
ASSASSINATION
If we could distribute these to members who have interest, research and links we could put together a COTO MANIFESTO for publishing. I also want to covert the website to deposit the material and set it up for PayPal for T-shirts, hats and bumper stickers.
I was waiting for a stable core of members before promoting the idea. I want to get some feedback.
